Tender description

The Authority requires the following Sequencing services: The Authority will isolate RNA from various shrimp tissue samples and will liaise with the winning tenderer to check that the samples will meet the quality control standards required for Nova Seq 6000 sequencing. The Authority will ship these samples to the winning tenderer by courier and/or deliver these in person. The Authority requires the winning tenderer to provide the following services: - Quality assessment of RNA samples (35 in total) - Liaising with Cefas and troubleshooting sample quality and extraction methods - Library preparation for Nova Seq 6000 of RNA samples - Quality assessment of the libraries prior Nova Seq 6000 sequencing - Troubleshooting library preparation - Sequencing of libraries on a S2 Nova Seq 6000 flowcell with 150 bp paired end reads with efficiency of sequencing of 3300M reads (90M reads/sample for 35 samples) - Quality check of the data obtained - Data turnaround time of one month from commissioning - The supplier will make the sequencing data available for download, for example via a web portal or ftp server. Sample quantity: 35 RNA samples, one S2 Nova Seq 6000 flowcell.
