Business Development Consultant IDA Ireland, with over 20 offices around the world, is extending its global footprint and is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Business Development Consultant to represent IDA in Brazil with a remit to win new Foreign Direct Investment for Ireland from Brazilian companies. The successful tenderer will be working within a dynamic organisation to encourage investment into Ireland by Brazilian-headquartered companies that are considering or expanding their international operations in the European market. The Business Development Consultant will be expected to identify Brazilian-headquartered target companies with potential for investing in Ireland, engage with senior decision makers in these companies and present Ireland’s value proposition as an investment location. It is an essential requirement that the consultant must be physically based in Brazil. Interested parties should be aware that the Services sought herein are within Annex XIV of Directive 2014/24/EU on public procurement and repealing Directive 2004/18/EC (“the Directive”) and therefore this public procurement competition is subject only to the rules in Part 3 Chapter 1 of the European Union (Award of Public Authority Contracts) Regulations 2016 (SI 284/2016).
