Tender description

VMware Licences The current VMWare licence expired at the end of June 2021. This was refreshed for a further 5 years to allow the technology platform to be fully supported and managed. This contract will also extend into providing monitoring and management of the Education servers by the use of vSphere Remote Office Branch Office (ROBO). Scottish Procurement’s Software Value Added Re-seller Framework was identified as a compliant route to market and is a single supplier framework. The Direct Award was undertaken in compliance with the call off procedures detailed within the buyer guide for the Framework and in line with its Terms and Conditions.
