Tender description
Meath County Council seeks to appoint a Technical Consultant for the preparation of a Part 8 design, and a detailed design and Contract documents for the provision of a Park & Ride facility for approx 70 car parking spaces in Enfield Co. Meath. A major element of the Enfield proposal is the construction of a purpose-designed park-and ride facility on the large site to the rear of the proposed community centre. This will provide for c. 70 spaces for potential users of both the train station and the bus stop adjacent to the site which was recently reconfigured and upgraded to cater for the large numbers of users. The provision of properly designed and safe park-and-ride facilities will encourage further use of public transport options, stimulating a modal shift from private car to bus or train.
