Tender description

An EU Light Touch procurement exercise which is compliant with the Public Contract Regulations 2015 will be undertaken to select suppliers for a Quasi-Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) which will offer access to preapproved suppliers who can be appointed using a streamlined procurement process, ensuring the University obtains value for money whilst enabling the Office for Students’ objectives to be achieved efficiently. For clarity, this procurement is not a DPS as defined under the Public Contract Regulations 2015, Regulation 34, but is a Quasi-DPS as defined in the procurement documents. This is because Section 7 — Social and Other Specific Services are not subject to the full regulations of the procurement procedures, as they are covered by the light touch regime (the Light Touch Regime as allowed under Regulations 74 to 77). The Quasi-DPS will be broken down into eight lots. Estimated Quasi-DPS value excluding VAT between 0 GBP — 1 800 000 GBP.
