<p><em>Stockport Council are holding a Stakeholder Engagement Event on Tues 17^th August, 11-12, via Microsoft Teams for Care Home providers regarding the proposed Care Home Framework.</em></p> <p><em>&nbsp;</em></p> <p><em>The Care Home Framework which will commence from March 2022, will enable Care Homes to join a list of approved providers who will be considered first when SMBC need to place a service user. Providers on the framework will also have the opportunity to take part in mini competitions to bid for contracts such as discharge to assess and respite contracts. </em></p> <p><em>&nbsp;</em></p> <p><em>The event will give providers an overview of the commissioning intentions for Care Homes in Stockport, timelines for the tender process, and an opportunity to ask questions and give feedback on the proposals.</em></p> <p><em>&nbsp;</em></p> <p><em>Please register your interest before 13/08/21 in order to receive the event invite.
