Tender description

Torbay Council has a duty to ensure that there is a robust process in place to monitor improvements within schools across the Torbay area where it has been identified that those schools require improvement. There are 41 schools within the locality to which this process is relevant. The school improvement process is reliant on a consultant entering the schools which have an Improvement Plan in place, the consultant monitors the improvements that the schools make and compile a visit note which is provided to the Torbay Council’s Education Team to ensure a Quality Assurance. This Specialist Education Advice and support to schools provided by the consultant will ensure compliance with education legislation and current Ofsted regulations. To ensure that this process is compliant with the above regulations, Torbay Council is looking to enter into a Contract with a consultant who will be able to go into schools and support those schools with their improvement journey.
