Tender description

This is the invitation to tender for the standing sale of conifer trees at Lake Vyrnwy. This will comprise of the removal of conifers through clear felling or thinning from within the RSPB’s FBT woodland. There is a mix of conifer plantation and scattered conifers amongst broad-leaved woodland that will be removed. The timber should be felled, extracted and bought as part of this contract. Any retained timber element will be expressed as a quantity in metres cubed (m3) and will be expected to be felled and presented at roadside. If this is required, then it shall be agreed in the contract with the successful contractor. The work is to be completed over three winters to a pre-arranged schedule, with all work being completed by 1st April 2024.
