Tender description

The services comprise of the assessment of Seafood processing automation and digitisation opportunities for the pelagic processing sector. The objectives of this RFT are as follows; • Conduct a review of current digitisation and Industry 4.0 capabilities of the Irish pelagic processing sector by interactions with representative pelagic processors consistent with the Irish Government’s priority in promoting Green Public Procurement in the context of the wider commitments under the Climate Action Plan (Circular 20/2019). • Identify comparative and commercially scalable global models, trends and opportunities which are ahead of the Irish pelagic processing sector and identify pathways to increase industry capabilities. • Disseminate all findings to industry via workshops published materials in conjunction with the Contracting Authority.
