Requirements of the Brief The design of the bus network and the supporting highway infrastructure measures that make the bus network efficient and effective are central to developing a successful Bus Service Improvement Plan. The National Bus Strategy has an emphasis on Local Transport Authorities delivering ambitious plans that are supported by cohesive designs for bus priority and opportunities for integrated transport. Consultancy support is required to undertake an evidence-based approach to reviewing and re-scoping the bus network and identifying solutions to the gaps in the supporting highway infrastructure.
