Tender description

This Voluntary ex ante transparency (VEAT) notice acknowledges that Trinity College Dublin proposes to issue a contract to nanoFCM Co. Ltd. for supply of a Flow nanoAnalyzer. The intention is to enter a short term lease agreement to verify the capability of the instrument. A VEAT notice is published in recognition that the research project, or future iterations, may result in a purchase of the instrument. NanoFCM Co., Ltd. offers technology has the unique ability to perform multiple parameter analysis on sub-micron particles, which are typically too small to be detected by conventional and micro flow cytometry. In addition to the assessment of fluorescent probes on small particles, nano-flow cytometry measures particle size, size distribution and concentration similarly to a particle analyser, and with the accuracy & resolution of electron microscopy. Lot 1: This Voluntary ex ante transparency (VEAT) notice acknowledges that Trinity College Dublin proposes to issue a contract to nanoFCM Co. Ltd for supply of a Flow nanoAnalyzer. NanoFCM Co., Ltd. offers an instrument with the unique ability to perform multiple parameter analysis on sub-micron particles, which are typically too small to be detected by conventional and micro flow cytometry. The NanoAnalyzer platform offers a flexible, high throughput solution to both academic and private research organisations working on nanoparticle entities. Fluorescence-based detection can perform using a vast array of fluorophores already commercially available, and familiar staining protocols. By simultaneously measuring the scatter signal for each particle, it is possible to derive the size characteristics of each subpopulation, as well as their absolute concentration. The NanoAnalyzer which is unique and specifically designed for nano- particles/objects size, concentration and fingerprinting specificity as preclinical characterisation research.
