The Dinish Wharf Completion Works Contract is for the completion of the Dinish Wharf Expansion Project, which is located at Castletownbere Fishery Harbour Centre, Co. Cork, Ireland. The Works Contract follows on from the Dinish Wharf North Quay Essential Works which substantially completed the northern section of the quay suspended deck and ground bearing slab. The Dinish Wharf Completion Works Contract comprises, but is not limited to, the following main construction elements; • Completion of the partially constructed new quay structure, specifically the open piled deck section of quay. The cope line of the open piled deck extends 48m, with an additional 60m return section to the south of the main quay. • Completion of the partially constructed drainage network and oil supply services • Completion of the partially constructed ground bearing slab surfacing, including transition slabs to new wharf and new quay structure • Completion of dredging of the berthing pocket adjacent to the new wharf extension to a depth of -8.0m Chart Datum (CD) • Completion of dredging of the navigation channel to a depth of -6.5m Chart Datum • Dredging of contaminated material beneath the Syncrolift • Completion of two new breakwater structures • Completion of the reclamation area to act as a quay/storage hinterland area • Completion of access road to new quay structure • Relocation of the navigation lights • Ancillary marine facilities and services • Security and Access arrangements for Quay Facilities including the installation of ISPS fencing
