Tender description

Derby Cathedral School is a growing secondary school (with a sixth form) that is part of the Derby Diocesan Academy Trust. The school is moving to their permanent site from September 2021 and requires a catering provider for its’ new facilities. There are currently 540 pupils with the expectation that it will grow by 180 pupils per year until it reaches full capacity (1260). The contract period will be for 3 years initially with the option to extend for two further one year periods. The services are to be provided at the following address: Derby Cathedral School, Great Northern Road, Derby, DE1 1LR. There are currently five catering staff who are all on a Local Authority contracts (which includes increased sickness entitlement) – with four out of the five catering staff on 21 % LGPS rates.
