PCR-based high throughput batch testing system for the detection of respiratory pathogens in a variety of clinical specimens. The testing must be cost-effective, and the range of targets suitable for a paediatric setting. The equipment must have a small footprint and the technology must have a proven track record. The equipment must be compatible with the extraction and PCR equipment already available in the laboratory.
