Tender description

This document is a Request for Information (‘RFI’) in relation to Digitisation of Photographic Content. The BBC is working on plans to relocate their primary archive collections in 2024. The photography collection includes a wide variety of formats and content. Of the 6 million items in the collection we have selected approximately 1.36million items that are candidates for digitisation. These digital assets will be used for access, preservation and commercial purposes. The assets are currently stored well but the condition and the data is of variable quality and in a wide variety of formats.
