Tender description

The 25 Year Plan to Improve the Environment (25YEP) was published in 2018. The 25YEP sets out what the government will do to improve the environment within a generation, outlining ten environmental goals. It sets out government action to help the natural world regain and retain good health. It aims to deliver cleaner air and water in our cities and rural landscapes, protect threatened species and provide richer wildlife habitats. It calls for an approach to agriculture, forestry, land use and fishing that puts the environment first. Defra now wishes to commission a project with two linked and complementary workstreams to support the evaluation of the Plan as part of the review of the 25 YEP required under the Environment Bill.
