Supported Living (shared hours and 1:1)

Tender description

Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust (TSDFT) and Torbay Council are re- opening the tender opportunity for non-framework Providers and other interested parties to apply for the provision of Supported Living under two lots comprising of shared hours and 1:1 hours services in Torbay. TSDFT is running an Any Qualified Provider (AQP) process, whereby any Provider who passes the evaluation steps outlined within the Application Pack will be awarded a place on the AQP / Supported Living framework. Whilst this is an open tender for supported living services across different client groups Torbay has identified a gap in their supported living provision for Transitions i.e. Childrens' to Adults. In particular: • Young people with complex needs relating to Autism • Care leavers with behavioural needs and / or at risk of exploitation TSDFT and the Council are keen to work with providers, who are successful in this tender, along with existing framework providers, to develop innovative and independent supported living services in preventing residential admission; enabling people to remain in the community to develop their independent living skills.
