Tender description

The Council is looking to engage the services of an organisation to: • provide practical face to face support to micro and SME businesses trading in the London Borough of Hounslow to reopen safely, when possible, and adapt operating models (including provision of bookable appointments) • explain coronavirus restrictions to businesses and encourage compliance • communicate with the general public to encourage compliance with the latest coronavirus restrictions e.g. social distancing and wearing of facemasks when entering indoor spaces • work with the council to identify areas of concern regarding e.g. pinch points where distancing is an issue or businesses in continued non-compliance • work in partnership with council teams such as Business Support, Enforcement, Licensing, Highways and Transport to ensure work complements and supports The organisation will be expected to deliver this service face to face and provide a physical presence in LB Hounslow’s town and neighbourhood centres.
