Tender description

The University has recently been awarded an EPSRC equipment grant and wants to purchase Stereoscopic Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) System. The objectives of the equipment are summarized as follows: • To obtain stereo particle image velocimetry (SPIV) measurements in (i) a wind tunnel at speeds up to 35 m/s, and (ii) in water flumes at speeds up 1 m/s. The scope of this contract is for the supply of the equipment as detailed in the ITT to the University, with after-sales support and 36 months warranty and maintenance.
