Tender description

• Construction of an access road up to the works site. • Site preparation works including altering of existing topography (if necessary) to enable formation levels. • Installation of new wastewater treatment system to specialist design, including all ancillary works. • Construction of associated pipework and manhole(s). • Testing and commissioning of the proposed new wastewater treatment system and pipework. • Testing and servicing of the existing pumping station and any pipework which is to be retained. • Decommissioning and removal from site of existing obsolete wastewater treatment systems and redundant pipework, and the removal of any sludge remaining in the existent WWTP to a certified WWTP. • Replacement of the existing broken/rusted flap valve at the outfall. • Operation and maintenance of the plant as agreed with the IDA as per the WWTP O&M outlined in Volume A4 of the Tender Pack.
