Sport Northern Ireland Sports Institute (SNISI) are wishing to procure equipment to measure and monitor athlete hamstring/ groin strength and isometric joint strength (hip, knee, shoulder, ankle and neck) to allow SNISI practitioners to identify weakness and/ or imbalances in athletes. This will help reduce the days lost due to injury by our athletes and aid our practitioners in their return to training and performing at the highest level. In the current COVID environment this would also allow for a hands-off assessment of athletes, aiding physiotherapists and strength and conditioning coaches to abide by social distancing rules and reduce close contact time with athletes. The contractor must provide: - 1. One Eccentric hamstring strength testing unit. 2. One Single joint isometric testing unit and frame.
