Families First and Flying Start Support Services

Tender description

The Council is procuring for Family Support Services, through the Government ‘Families First’ Program Grant, and Flying Start - Gwynedd.Gwynedd Council is clear in its intention to improve the alignment of Families First support to that of statutory provision, in doing so the council has created an overall Children and Families Prevention and Early Intervention Structure that mirrors that of the existing statutory area teams (Arfon, Dwyfor and Meirionnydd). Gwynedd Children and Families Services will provide two of these teams (Arfon and Dwyfor) in-house from existing staffing groups, the third (Meirionnydd) will be part of the Commissioned Lots/services.Gwynedd Council (on behalf of the Gwynedd Children and Families Support Services) wishes to appoint appropriately qualified and experienced service providers to fulfil the requirements of its Parenting and Family Support Commissioning Strategy. There are 3 Lots within the tender: Lot 1: Family Support Team for the Meirionnydd Area of Gwynedd Lot 2: A Family Support Service; Therapeutic, Counselling and Mediation Services Lot 3: Flying Start Family Support Team for the Meirionnydd Area of Gwynedd
