Engineering design services for mechanical and electrical installations for buildings

Kilkenny and Carlow Education and Training Board invites tenders for architectural services as part of a full design team for additional and temporary accommodation (comprising four individually appointed consultants as follows: architect, civil and structural engineer, building services (M&E) engineer and quantity surveyor) for project management and design consultancy services for the full design, statutory approvals, planning, fire and DAC, tendering process, procurement and subsequent periodic inspections and certification of construction of works at Coláiste Mhuire, Johnstown, Co. Kilkenny, RN 70600T. Note: a separate competition for the appointment of a PSDP will run using the DoES PSDP Framework. The accommodation comprises of the following: • 2 x mainstream classrooms(prefab replacement); • 6 x mainstream classrooms; • 1 x home economics room; • 1 x DCG room; • 2 x science labs with shared prep area (total area 1288 m2); and • provision of 2 x 58 m2 prefabs from September 2021 to June 2023.
