Tender description
Plymouth City Council requires a bespoke 3 year monitoring programme to quantify the impacts of beavers upon hydrology at the (EU funded Green Minds) Plymouth beaver re-introduction on the Bircham river. We require an understanding of the impact of beavers upon flow regimes, including potential flood attenuation during wet periods and potential base flow and water storage during dry periods is critical. The Plymouth site provides a valuable and novel location for this research due to its urban setting.
