Young Parent Accommodation and Support

Tender description

Nottinghamshire County Council is conducting a soft market testing exercise in the subject area of Accommodation and Support for young parents. Currently, young parents are accommodated as part of the mainstream 16+ Supported Accommodation offer and this is not effectively meeting their needs. Nottinghamshire County Council seeks to engage with the market in an outline proposal to commission a specific service for young parents. This service would operate on a county wide basis (excluding Nottingham City), serving 3 localities; North, South and West. It would include ring fenced accommodation, some 24 hour staffed provision, move on (cluster) accommodation and staff with experience of both early years development and working with young people who have been effected by trauma.
