KMCIRS-130 Provision of Consultancy Services for the Low Carbon Housing Pilot Programme

<p>The Council intends to develop a pilot Low Carbon affordable housing programme on land in its ownership. We are looking for suitably qualified and experienced consultants with Passivhaus design experience to provide a design team led by an architect/principal designer, to provide design services (RIBA Stages 1-4) and secure an implementable planning permission on a specific site that has a capacity of approximately 125 dwellings. There is an aspiration for at least 20 homes to be built to a Certified Passivhaus standard, with at least one home developed to zero carbon standard. The services required in this procurement exercise will be for a principal designer/architect consultancy to provide and lead a team of multi-disciplinary professionals to design a scheme and achieve an implementable planning permission for the development.</p> Keywords: Passivhaus, Low Carbon
