Tender description

The Ministry of Justice (the Authority) intends to tender for the provision of a Justice Leaders Scheme in England and Wales. The Leadership, Talent and Capability team (LTC) within the Ministry of Justice have designed the outline of a new scheme which aims to provide a Masters qualification that will develop candidate leadership skills as well as encompassing the operational accreditation required to work across all areas of HMPPS (Her Majesty's Prison and Probation Service). The new Justice Leaders Scheme will recruit high potential individuals who can fulfil leadership roles across the whole of HMPPS, injecting operational leadership expertise across prison, probation and youth custody. This 'one HMPPS' approach offers an exciting opportunity to create a more dynamic and mobile leadership cadre ensuring the retention of senior operational leaders. This notice is for information only and the Authority reserves the right to not proceed to tender. Additionally the Authority (MoJ) reserves the right to discontinue the tendering process and not to award the contract. The information contained in this notice, including information relating to the nature and scope of the requirements, the estimated value, the service classification of this requirement or the list of CPV codes, is only indicative of current thinking and is neither exhaustive nor binding and the Authority reserves the right at its absolute discretion to amend it at the time of issue of any further notice or notices or at any other time. The Authority is not/shall not be liable for any costs incurred by those expressing an interest in participating in this market engagement exercise. Any contracts are subject to the relevant legal and Cabinet Office controls and policies. This lot may be combined or separated into a different lotting structures depending on the output of the market engagement event. The Authority reserves the right to source items included through other means (e.g.an existing contract or framework). Please note the Authority intends to go live with this requirement in August 2021. More details will be issued via the tender process and there will be a clarification period during the tender period.
