(HM0111) Roofline 2 Term Maintenance & Refurbishment Works

Tender description

Cork City Council maintains a social housing stock of over 10,000 units using a combination of directly employed staff and external contractors. The City Council also maintains other municipal buildings/properties such as City Hall, libraries, council buildings, satellite offices, public realm etc. Cork City Council is seeking to enter into a framework agreement (single participant) with a suitably qualified contractor for the carrying out of works to roofs and roofline. The works will involve the maintenance, repair, cleaning, replacement and refurbishment of a very broad range of building elements/features that are commonly found on, in or near roofs including, inter alia, slates, roof tiles, ridge tiles, vents, laths, felt, membranes, sarking, fascia, soffit, gutters, downpipes, outlets, battens, trusses, rafters, balconies, trays, single ply roofing, metal roofing, backing boards, grounds, chimneys, caps, flashings, pigmented pointing, lead valleys, insulation and membranes, velux type windows (or similar), and all other fixtures. Works will be ordered by way of ‘Task Orders’ in line with the Public Works Term Maintenance and Refurbishment Works Contract (PW-CF11) and Associated Framework Agreement. Works may be planned maintenance or response maintenance in nature. The Framework Participant will be appointed as Works Contractor, PSCS, Designer and PSDP.
