Framework Agreement for the Provision of Fire Risk Assessments

North Ayrshire Council requires suitably qualified companies to undertake Fire Risk assessments & Fire Risk Assessment Reviews in non-domestic properties operated by the Council. Under current Fire Safety Legislation and Guidance, the Council will require the Service Provider(s) to undertake Fire Risk Assessment & Fire Risk Assessment Reviews of its operational, non-domestic properties. In order to ensure that any assessments satisfactorily meet the desired outcomes for The Council and the expectations of The Scottish Fire & Rescue Service (SFRS), it is intended that one Fire Risk Assessment and one Fire Risk Assessment Review are undertaken and reports produced by each Service Provider. These initial reports may be amended in liaison with The Council to assist in finalising the format and content of future survey reports. North Ayrshire Council requires to undertake Fire Risk Assessments & Fire Risk Assessment Reviews and have written reports provided in line with PAS 79-1:2020. It is anticipated that there will be a maximum of 4 Contractors appointed to the Framework.
