Tender description
The University of Edinburgh Card Services is giving consideration to procure a new solution covering all elements of the service, whereby the University card will remain an essential physical token. Smartphone technology and ITSO smart ticketing for public transport are areas of potential development. Bureau services for card production off campus by a third party supplier are in scope as an optional service. Further details of desired core business requirements are within the documents attached to this PIN. The University of Edinburgh are currently reviewing the market and its status in the hope to procure a new card system for the full University in 2022. Following this PIN, should help us understand the current market state and help provide the best and economical system. Please take time and review all documents attached and respond where appropriate. All suppliers who may be interested are being asked to respond no later than 5 PM 6th August.
