Capital Schemes for Shower Units and Covid Wards in UHW and UHL

The Cardiff and Vale Health Board had an urgent requirement to ensure capacity for the surge in cases in the first wave of the global pandemic, as consequent the Capital, Planning, Estates and Facilities Board had to act promptly to ensure the additional ward capacity for the anticipated increased volume of COVID patients. The capital schemes were for emergency works to refurbish wards to ensure patient capacity and safe Covid working arrangements whilst treating patients. Lot 1: Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board - Capital, Planning, Estates and Facilities Board wish to inform the market that the awarded capital schemes to the supplier detailed in this notice for Shower Units and Covid wards at UHW and UHL in order to undertake emergency works as part of the early Covid-19 response.
