PROVISION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLES RACE EQUALITY AND ANTI-RACISM IN EDUCATION SHADOW ADVISORY GROUP

Tender description

The Equality in Education Team, which is part of the Scottish Government’s Teacher Education, Leadership and Reform Unit wishes to commission a Children and Young People’s advisory group, which will shadow the activity of our Race Equality and Anti-Racism in Education Programme (REAREP) Stakeholder Network Group. The requirement is to establish and run for 12 months, a Children and Young People’s Group which will ‘shadow’ the work and discussion topics covered by the Race Equality and Anti-Racism in Education Programme (REAREP) Stakeholder Network Group (SNG). The group will shadow the recently established SNG, and will be given the opportunity to input their thoughts and opinions on priorities and the development of areas of focus of the workstreams of the REAREP, in order to ensure children and young people’s co-design of outcomes.
