Tender description

Salford City Council is looking for suitably qualified companies to submit tenders to provide project management resource and to oversee and advise on all technical, engineering and regulatory aspects of the building and commissioning of the proposed Hydro Electric Scheme at Charlestown Weir. The project has an estimated budget of £1.6m and planning permission has been granted.  The project is being funded by Salford City Council and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and forms part of a wider programme of ERDF supported renewable energy projects across Greater Manchester which are due to be delivered between 2021 and 2023.
