Leak Detection and Water Efficiency

Southern Water Services will be looking to award supplier(s) to support the AMP 7 objectives of reducing water per capita and leak reduction of 15 %. The contract will be to support investigating leak detection in the mains network and customer sites, the contract will also include supporting SWS customers with water efficiency guidance and products to save water in the home Lot 1: 1 Leak detection to ensure SWS reduces leakage by 15 % Drive leak detection performance using incentive performance mechanism Manage and maintain resilient and skilled leak detection workforce Provide cutting edge, leading leak detection methodology for network mains, trunk and customer site. Lot 2: Water Efficiency. Customer home visits in AMP 7 for high consumption increase customer visits to deliver a high level service that provides consumption guidance, behavioural change education, household leak detection and water efficiency advice, including the fitting of water saving products and fixing of customer leaking toilets customer consumption reduced to 120 Litres per day by 2025. Increase SWS reputation (promotion of energy savings/customer support) support SWS vulnerable customers.
