Scottish Procurement intend to establish a framework for the provision of IT Peripherals and supporting services to the Scottish Public Sector. The new framework will build on the success of the current framework and scope is likely to cover the current categories of General IT Peripherals; Audio Visual Equipment; Desktop Printers; Network Equipment; Servers and Storage and all services associated with the deployment of these categories. Lot 1: Scottish Procurement intend to establish a collaborative Framework for the supply of IT Peripherals and supporting services. The new framework will build on the success of the current Framework and scope is likely to cover the current categories of General IT Peripherals; Audio Visual Equipment; Desktop Printers; Network Equipment; Servers and Storage and all services associated with the deployment of these categories. Services may include, but will not be limited to, the installation of display screens, desktop printers or networking equipment. The Scottish Procurement ICT Products team would like to engage with the market and collate supplier views on the Framework structure, scope and commercial model. The success of the current framework has been driven by the implementation of an eCommerce environment such as a punch-out site, bespoke web pages, and a secure online ordering portal. For those organisations that do not have their own eCommerce system, Contractors must provide access to a secure online ordering portal (website), and the ability to place orders by email and telephone.
