Tender description

SSE Renewables own and maintain a large portfolio of onshore wind turbines across the UK and Ireland. The fleet in scope contains some 200 000 litres of Gearbox oil and 40 000 litres of Hydraulic Oil. A 3-year framework agreement is required to provide SSE Generation with a fixed call-off rate cost for the carrying out of wind farm turbine gearbox and hydraulic oil exchanges on SSE Wind Farms across the UK and Ireland. The preferred method of exchange is by truck or trailer containing separate storage of fresh and waste oils, pumps and hoses. The amount of Gearbox and Hydraulic oils to be exchanged, during the framework period, will be determined at a frequency or oil condition in line with OEM recommendations.
