Eastern Region Examination Contract for Structures

Tender description

This framework covers the procurement of Detailed Examinations of structures across Network Rail's Eastern Region. Lot 1: The Eastern Region Examinations Contract for Structures is to be used to procure approximately 3,300 structures detailed examinations per year across all four routes (East Coast, North & East, East Midlands and Anglia) comprising the Eastern Region. This includes, but is not exclusive to, Bridges and Culverts, Retaining Walls, Coastal, Estuarine and River Defences (CERDs), Ancillary Structures and Tunnels. Other activities associated with the management of structures assets include, but are not limited to, structural monitoring, Underwater Examinations and associated Scour Assessments, structural measurements as part of asset data gathering and use of condition marking index (CMI) standards for describing and labelling structures and scoring structural defects. The scope also includes the planning and delivery of physical enabling works, as well as other specialist works.
