Summary of the work We’re looking for a delivery manager to join us to support the skills and capability team on the roadmap and alpha for the training and support offering for the leadership and teams/squads the Centre support within the Welsh Public Sector. Specialist role Delivery manager Expected Contract Length 6 Months (Optional 25% extension) Latest start date Monday 2 August 2021 Maximum Day Rate £650.00 Inclusive of travel expenses if travel becomes required. Early Market Engagement N/A Who Speclialist Work With You’ll be directly supporting the Head of Digital Skills and Capability and the Product Manager but would likely need to engage with the wider team in the Centre and stakeholders within the Welsh public sector. What Specialists Work On You’ll be supporting the delivery of the skills and capability team on the roadmap and alpha for the training and support offering Skills & Experience • Recent examples of delivery managing discovery, alpha, beta and/or live phases • Recent experience in delivering digital products and services • Proven experience using a range of agile tools and techniques • Demonstrable experience of challenging and removing barriers to service delivery • Recent experience of matrix-managing multidisciplinary teams • Proven experience balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity • Demonstrable negotiation skills Nice to Haves • Professional-level fluency in Welsh language • Demonstrable experience of working in the open • Demonstrable experience of working in the Welsh Public Sector Work Location This post is remote working Working Arrangments We expect this work will be done remotely for the foreseeable future. Should official guidance change during the duration of this engagement, you may be expected to attend meetings across Wales. Security Clearance Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) / Security Clarence may be required.
