Community Services to meet requirement of Advocacy, DoLs and LPS

Kent County Council are wanting to work collaboratively with Providers to commission the services to deliver their requirement for Advocacy, current DoLs Mental Health Assessors and future LPS. As the market will be aware the Code of Practice for LPS is still to be consulted on, however the Council wants to begin discussions to ensure a timely procurement. The Council are currently exploring opportunities to collaborate with the Local Unitary Authority and the CCG. The Council want to hear from Providers on their thoughts of the future service delivery and to work together to commission a service to meet the needs of Kent residents. The Council are looking to hold a virtual market engagement event in the last two weeks of August and ask interested Providers to express an interest in the advert on the Kent Business Portal. Following the market engagement event it is anticipated that the Council will be carrying out a procurement process in early Autumn.
