Tender description
<p>Newcastle City Council (NCC) introduced temporary changes to several streets in the city centre last year to support social distancing and public safety. Grey Street was one such street and the temporary changes included the reallocation of road space away from vehicular traffic to provide additional space to those on foot and bicycle. Temporary black and white bollards/poles were installed to separate the cycle lane from the single lane carriageway, and the council are now seeking an alternative to that solution to mitigate the levels of vandalism whilst improving the aesthetics impacts on this iconic street.</p> Keywords: Planters, Street Furniture
