Dublin and Dún Laoghaire Education and Training Board, on behalf of the Board of Management of St. Michael’s Holy Faith Secondary School (the Contracting Authority), invites tenders for Architect Led Design Team consultancy services for remedial works to the school’s sports hall building resulting from pyritic heave, at Wellmount Road, Finglas, Dublin 11. Further details are provided on the enclosed tender and information documents with this notice. The Architect Led Design Team is to provide full Design Team services (including buying in of additional services for other disciplines as required) relating to the delivery of the project from outline design to completion to include design, procurement of works contractor, contract administration, inspections and certification. The project will comprise without limitation: Removal and reinstatement of all concrete ground floors together with associated finishes, Removal, disposal to licenced facility and reinstatement of hardcore filling under floors and around foundations, Removal, reinstatement, testing and commissioning of all affected services, Remove and replace external timber cladding, Removal and replacement of lift, Removal of external paths and pavings adjacent to building and reinstating same, Installation of perimeter drainage system to external of building, Re-decoration works, Reinstate equipment to building and all associated site & ancillary works. The Services are to be provided in accordance with the Department of Education’s Design Team Procedures for Small Works.
