Adoption Peer Mentoring Scheme

Tender description

The Council is undertaking this procurement as host of One Adoption West Yorkshire (OAWY), on behalf of three Regional Adoption Agencies (RAAs): OAWY; One Adoption North and Humber (OANH); and One Adoption South Yorkshire (OASY). The Contractor will deliver Adoption Peer Mentoring, to include one to one peer mentoring and group mentoring, plus access to community based support from peers throughout the year including support and advice; information and resources; a helpline, plus information and signposting for all newly approved adopters. Lot 1: Lot 1: Advice, Information and Peer Mentoring Lot 1: Advice, Information and Peer Mentoring: o Subscription based access to advice, information and community support for new adopters o Volunteer Peer Mentoring - one to one and group based support Lot 2: Lot 2: Enhanced Activity Lot 2: Enhanced Activity – Focusing on transitions and education. Specially trained, paid mentors providing time limited one to one support and facilitating closed support groups.
