01720 Treatment of Recyclable and Residual Waste

Tender description

The purpose of this Contract is to engage with a Supplier to ensure that the SPS operates in a safe, appropriate and environmentally compliant manner in relation to the management of Non-Hazardous Controlled Waste. Including the on-site storage, collection, transfer, treatment and subsequent disposal of all Non-Hazardous Controlled Waste across the SPS Estate. The Supplier shall ensure source segregation and separate collection of the following key materials, including but not limited to: Dry mixed Recyclables (Paper; Card; Glass; Metals; Cans; Plastics; Textiles; and Wood); and Residual Waste. The SPS commenced this procurement process in good faith and with the intention of awarding a contract. Following publication of the Contract Notice, an Invitation to Tender (ITT) including the European Single Procurement Document (ESPD) was published by SPS and was made available to bidders. Tender responses were then evaluated by the SPS in accordance with the ITT.
