Tender description

Supply of electricity to the Dollands Moor freight yard in Folkestone, Kent. Lot 1: The scope of this procurement is the supply of electricity to the Dollands Moor freight yard for the primary purpose of traction power supply. Dollands Moor is in the proximity of Euro Tunnel’s terminal at Folkestone, Kent. Electricity is required to ensure the operation of the freight yard and to enable trains to join certain lines. Electricity will be fed from Euro Tunnel to Dollands Moor as there is no direct connection to the national grid, meaning there are no alternative viable options for electricity supply.
