Tender description

Somerset County Council (SCC) requires a service provider, or providers, to manage the administration and delivery of its apprenticeship programme. The apprenticeships, to be provided via this procurement exercise, are funded via the Council’s Apprenticeship Levy, a proportion of which has been used as match-funding in a wider bid to the European Social Fund (ESF) Programme, to deliver the Somerset Skills for Growth Project. Lot 1: Legal Finance and Accounting Apprenticeships Delivery of apprenticeships and support services in legal finance and accounting. Suppliers to deliver required support to eligible participants, referred to them via SCC and its partner organisations. Suppliers to respond to referrals within 2 working days of a referral and deliver support within 5 days of a referral, the target for enrolment is 7 days. Lot 2: Sales, marketing and procurement Delivery of apprenticeships and support services in Sales, marketing and procurement. Suppliers to deliver required support to eligible participants, referred to them via SCC and its partner organisations. Suppliers to respond to referrals within 2 working days of a referral and deliver support within 5 days of a referral, the target for enrolment is 7 days. Lot 3: Business and Administration Delivery of apprenticeships and support services in business and administration. Suppliers to deliver required support to eligible participants, referred to them via SCC and its partner organisations. Suppliers to respond to referrals within 2 working days of a referral and deliver support within 5 days of a referral, the target for enrolment is 7 days. Lot 4: Catering, Hospitality and Facilities Management Delivery of apprenticeships and support services in catering, hospitality and facilities management. Suppliers to deliver required support to eligible participants, referred to them via SCC and its partner organisations. Suppliers to respond to referrals within 2 working days of a referral and deliver support within 5 days of a referral, the target for enrolment is 7 days. Lot 5: Childcare and Education Delivery of apprenticeships and support services in childcare and education. Suppliers to deliver required support to eligible participants, referred to them via SCC and its partner organisations. Suppliers to respond to referrals within 2 working days of a referral and deliver support within 5 days of a referral, the target for enrolment is 7 days. Lot 6: Construction, Engineering, Manufacturing, Transport and Logistics Delivery of apprenticeships and support services in construction, engineering, manufacturing, transport and Logistics. Suppliers to deliver required support to eligible participants, referred to them via SCC and its partner organisations. Suppliers to respond to referrals within 2 working days of a referral and deliver support within 5 days of a referral, the target for enrolment is 7 days. Lot 7: Digital, Creative and Design Delivery of apprenticeships and support services in digital, creative and design. Suppliers to deliver required support to eligible participants, referred to them via SCC and its partner organisations. Suppliers to respond to referrals within 2 working days of a referral and deliver support within 5 days of a referral, the target for enrolment is 7 days. Lot 8: Health, Social Care and Science Delivery of apprenticeships and support services in health, social care and science. Suppliers to deliver required support to eligible participants, referred to them via SCC and its partner organisations.
