Provision of the Healthwatch Enfield Service

Tender description

To support the Healthwatch Enfield Chair and Board to be able to deliver the functions of the local healthwatch pursuant to the legislative requirements. Lot 1: The contractor will accomplish the following local heathwatch functions and related activities: Function One: Gathering views and understanding the experiences of patients and the public Function Two: Making people’s views known Function Three: Supporting the involvement of people in the commissioning and provision of local care services and how they are scrutinized Function Four: Recommending investigation or special review of services via Healthwatch England or directly to the Care Quality Commission (CQC) Function Five: Providing information and signposting about access to services and support for making informed choices Function Six: Making the views and experiences of people known to Healthwatch England (and to other local Healthwatch organisations) and providing a steer to help it carry out its role as national champion. Make recommendations and offer practical solutions to improve services by calling upon the assistance of Healthwatch England in relation to the views and experiences of local residents.
