CSI-CYP-Street Intervention Service Outreach Worker

Tender description

This funding is to continue a post that employs a person at St Mungos (a charity for homeless \r people) for an outreach worker who is based in the BCC Street Intervention Service. That \r contract has come to an end and is due to be recommissioned. We therefore need to directly \r award this contract to whoever wins the rough sleeper service (RSS) contract because the post \r has not been included in the recommissioned contract. One reason for this is that the TUPE \r advice is to not include this and two posts in the core service specification. Also, this SIS post is \r HRA funded and therefore not from the same budget as the core service. The employee has been in post for 2 years. The issues of timing and TUPE resulted in this funding/employee not being \r included in the larger tender of the Rough Sleeper Service (RSS) now called Street Outreach \r Bristol (SOB) service recently tendered and as of 14th June awarded to St Mungo's. This new \r service is due to begin in 1st Oct 2021. The SOB contract is DN519842.
