Tender description

The Government of Guernsey owns a fleet of 34 Ultra Low Emission Diesel Buses that were purchased in 2017/18 which, together with 8 ageing Caetano / Plaxton buses, are used to provide a network of scheduled and integrated school bus services across the Island. The service is contracted to a third party to operate and the bus service operates 7 days a week with a reduced service operating on a Sunday. The purpose of this proposal is to replace the remaining eight Caetano / Plaxton buses that support the current network of services and to consider other potential service development opportunities within the local bus sector. Also the longer term option increase the fleet.
