20-336 - All-age Drug and Alcohol advice, treatment and recovery service

<p>Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council (RMBC) seeking engagement with the market for the provision of an all age Drug and Alcohol advice, treatment and recovery service. The provider will proactively develop and deliver a community based drug and alcohol service with elements of prevention, community engagement, and treatment and recovery offers for adults and young people. Elements covered will include, but not be restricted to: &bull; Early interventions; &bull; Clinical/prescribing interventions &bull; A clear recovery programme &bull; Needle exchange &bull; Supervised consumption &bull; Management of a recognised and successful shared care programme with local GPs &bull; Psychosocial interventions; &bull; Sustainable recovery support built on existing volunteering and service user involvement; &bull; Partnership working. There will be a focus on delivering early support for families and a preventative approach to young peoples&rsquo; use. High level outcomes to achieve include but are not limited to: &bull; A reduction in substance misuse related harm through effective early intervention; &bull; Improved health and wellbeing for individuals &bull; Freedom from dependence on drugs or alcohol &bull; Reduced drug and alcohol related crime, anti-social behaviour and re-offending; &bull; Reduce the harms associated with substance misuse on individuals and their families and the wider community; &bull; Contribute to a visible and vibrant recovery community, supported by peer mentoring and actively promoting and facilitating service user involvement. The provider will work with key service areas and stakeholders to deliver wider public health and social care outcomes. All areas of delivery are to be considered as one specialised pathway with service users receiving seamless delivery of care.
