Violence Reduction Grant Year 2 Kind Words and Play

Tender description

The project will provide therapeutic interventions to parents and their children, where children are displaying aggressive behaviours. This will involve delivery of up to 6 play and communication sessions with the parent/carer and child, thereby adding value to the existing early years offer. The outcome of the interventions will be to reduce aggressive behaviour by giving parents skills to better communicate and engage their children positively in play activity. It is anticipated 60 children and 60+ parents should benefit from this support.
